The camera has 740 mAh rechargeable battery which is good for 100 shots. You can use Leica films in it for printing but it is also compatible with Instax mini format film.
In our review, the image quality of the Sofort instant camera was up to the mark but it was not extraordinary. Lens has the f/12 aperture which doesn’t work really great in the indoor conditions and you will have to use the flash to cover up. The camera comes up with the multiple settings
Macro mode is used to take pictures from close range
Party & People mode where you will get the background enabled bright pictures.

Double Exposure Mode where two pictures will be superimposed into one.
Another problem in the Leica Sofort is the focus issue, the camera doesn’t have the autofocus so you will have to judge the focus which is the pretty hard thing to do. However, if you get the right focus the pictures you will get good pictures. Leica also doesn’t focus on specs rather they focused on collecting moments with the Leica Sofort instant camera and that is the true purpose of the instant camera. Leica is right in this regard but they also need to understand that Polaroid is offering much better package is almost at the same price point.

The Built quality of the Lomo Instant Glass Magellan is solid and its ergonomically sound design. The granular design makes it easy to hold and it’s comfortable. Overall Lomo Instant Glass Magellan is a good camera and it offers everyone you can expect from a good Instant Camera but still, there are some downsides. The camera uses the non-rechargeable CR2 batteries which are very difficult to find, whereas its competition Fuji NEO Classic offers the rechargeable batteries at the same price. If I go into the market and compare these both cameras there are some seldom features like Unique Wide-Angle Glass Lens and f/4.5 aperture standout and make the Lomo Instant Glass Magellan an ideal choice.

Polaroid Z2300 10 MP Digital Instant Print Camera
Polaroid Z2300 is at the lower-end Instant Camera by Polaroid. Z2300 is not the top-notch model so you can’t expect extraordinary pictures from it but still, it doesn’t produce bad pictures either. The camera has a full plastic body which is still giant as compared to other high-end models in our Best Instant Camera selection. The camera weighs around 265 grams which is not heavy but its footprint is larger as compared to its competitors.
The Polaroid Z2300 features the 10 MP point and shoots digital shooter which produces okay photos but doesn’t expect great photos. The camera features the SD card slot where you can use to store your photos in the camera. There is 3-inch LCD Screen on its back which increases the usability of the camera, you can access manual controls from the menu and you can play with ISO, White balance and Exposure values.
The camera also features the 21 different scenes modes for better photos and you get modes for portraits, landscapes and fireworks, you also get simulations like fisheye etc. Minimum focusing distance is 1m in regular use and it macro mode minimum distance is 19 cm.
The comers don’t use the traditional films for printing instead it uses Premium ZINK photo paper which comes very handy but expensive. These ZINK photo paper make 2×3 inches paper which is about the size of business cards so it depends on your personal preference that you like it or not. One thing we found during our review that there were some issues with the printing, photos which were printed had the bluish tilt the pictures. You can edit pictures in the playback mode and you can do corrections like red-eye corrections etc. You also get the option to add a voice note to the picture to remind yourself where the picture was taken.
Polaroid Z2300 can also record high definition 1280×720 pixels with 30 fps. The video quality was good but the colors look washed out in some conditions especially outdoors and the microphone was sensitive enough to record detailed voices. As far as the battery life is concerned it comes with a rechargeable battery which is good for 1 hour. We found complaints of camera overheating where it overheats after every 5 prints.
- Solid Build Quality
- SD card support
- Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery
- Video recording feature
- Bulky Design
- Print Quality is good but not great
- No optical zoom
- Weak Battery

Taking pictures on Kodak Printomatic is fun, the camera automatically prints the image under 10 second and as there is no ink to dry or film to develop, pictures come handy and ready to use. However we were not impressed by the print quality, the images on the print were unsaturated and there was a gray tint to them but the digital print of them was okay and up to the mark.
The Biggest highlight of the Kodak Printomatic is its competitive pricing and performance it offers is great. Kodak Printomatic offer great value for money and when we compare it to its competitors in the Best Instant Camera market and no camera come close in term of value for money.
